Classical Nok position, with chin on folded knee
Example very similar to the piece owned by the Musée du Louvre and which has joined in June 2006 the new Musée des Arts Premiers at the Quai Branly, Paris. This little seated man rests his protruding chin on his right folded knee, a faraway look in his eyes. His eyes are really empty, his thoughts, elsewhere, his mouth expressionless, attentive. This man wears a necklace and a rope belt, with a penis case reposing on his left leg.
His two feet are delicately shaped, proof of a masterwork of great artistic maturity.
