120 - Small female headless bust

Classical Nok position, hands on her breast

Very eroded upright female statue made with coarse micaceous granules in a dark brown ochre earth, fairly charred. The statue is missing the head and the legs, but forms the main part of a personage which would have measured 16 cm. However, we can still see a necklace, a belt and bracelets, a beautiful ornament in the shape of a G-string and a pretty pleated buttockcloth.

Curiously, the hands appear tightly clasped, each with a round center and a well defined contour.
