150 - Eroded male head

Sokoto

Small head of a male cut off at the neck, quite damaged and quite smoothed from erosion, but its force remains intact, principally because of the particularly powerful form of the top of the head, like the cap of a mushroom. This ovular shape is repeated by the same circular appearance of the eyes, almost eroded away, while the two clearly visible nostrils are deeply sunk in. The mouth has almost completely disappeared. The back of the head does not seem to have been worked on.
